Most people know me as a healthy lifestyle strategist with more than 12 years of experience in the fitness industry and a lifetime of learning as an athlete.
What you may not know about me is that just a few years ago I felt stuck and exhausted. I was doing all the things for myself and everyone else and working doubly hard to make sure no one knew my struggle.
I ate well and exercised consistently but nothing changed. I just wanted my body to reflect my efforts.
I was tired, short-tempered, felt inadequate, and hated my body. (Sound familiar?)
I analyzed every inch of myself in the mirror and avoided looking at it as much as possible.
I cut calories, eliminated whole food groups, and exercised even harder - but nothing changed.
Eventually I stopped trying to fight my body and instead worked with it. Now I love my body, stress is a non-issue, I’m well-rested and have plenty of energy. I am happier than ever and rarely get angry.
